| NORMAN
ROSS ENDOWMENT FELLOW AWARD
Norman
"Norm" Ross helped form the Oregon Lions
Sight and Hearing Foundation in 1957 and served
as our first Chairman. He later went on to help
establish the Lions Clubs International Foundation.
Through his leadership and dedication to Lionism
we in MD-36 have one of the most reputable foundations
in the country.
The Norman Ross award is available from the Foundation
to honor individuals who have made outstanding
contributions to the cause of Lionism. Donations
may be made by individuals, groups, companies,
Lions, Lionesses, Auxiliary and Leo Clubs. A Donation
of $1,000-$1,999 entitles the donor(s) to designate
an individual, group or company to be named as
an Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation
Endowment Fellow. An engraved wall plaque is presented
to the individual, group or company, so honored
- or to a designated recipient (such as next of
kin). The award will be presented by an Oregon
Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation representative.
It will be presented at a special occasion at
the club, zone or district level. The name of
the recipient will be displayed on our Award Recognition
Wall at the Foundation Office. Donations for a
Foundation Endowment Fellow Award will be deposited
in a restricted fund so that only the interest
and earnings may be used. The donation itself
will benefit the Foundation for years to come.

HELEN
KELLER BENEFACTOR
A Helen Keller Benefactor will be given in recognition
of support of the Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing
Foundation. This recognition is given by the Foundation
to those who make a contribution of $1,000-$1,999
to the Foundation's General Fund. An etched glass
wall plaque is presented to the individual, group
or company, so honored - or to a designated recipient
(such as next of kin). The Helen Keller Benefactor
will be presented by an Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing
Foundation representative. It will be presented
at a special occasion at the club, zone or district
level. Donations for a Helen Keller Benefactor
will be deposited into the General Fund for use
by the Foundation for operating expenses, including
community service and management expenses.

VISION
AND FELLOWSHIP
Donating
$500.00-$999.00 entitles the donor(s) to designate
an individual, group or company to receive our
newest honor, the Vision and Fellowship Award.
This award is meant to recognize those who have
made significant contributions in the areas of
vision and fellowship. The award benefits the
Endowment Fund and the recipient will receive
a plaque and pin.
