Last year Lions donated over 100 hours of time to the Our Children's Store program on behalf of the Sight & Hearing Foundation. Our Children's Store is a holiday season store benefiting local charities that help youth. The commitment of Lions to this program translated into $2,425.00 to benefit Sight & Hearing programs. To everyone who volunteered last year, thank you for your impact on creating a healthier Oregon. This is also an excellent promotional opportunity for Lions!
The Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation is once again a participating charity in this program and we need your help. We are looking for Lions willing to volunteer at the store to help us reach our goal of 64 volunteer hours.
The store is at Lloyd Center this year with plenty of free, covered parking. Several shifts are available:
November
November 6 th : all day (great for a Club contingent!)
November 16 th from 1:45 to 6:15
November 19 th from 1:45 to 6:15
These are just a few of the potential shifts that are available. Additionally we have raffle tickets for sale at $5.00 each. The raffle features three terrific prizes. The top prize is two round trip tickets on Southwest Airlines wherever Southwest flies. Please contact Paul if you are interested in purchasing tickets.
