"Dr Terry, I drove myself home from the Louisville Ky airport to London Ky yesterday, a distance of about 150 miles (2.15 hours) with no problems. My son was having a fit and made me test drive before I left. I stopped twice to put in refresh drops. My eyes are driving me crazy as my left eye doesn't need glasses anymore for distance and my right still does. Left is very blurry with glasses on and right is blurry without them. I have read the newspaper every day with no problems. Left eye has been scratchy in the am but clears up nicely with the use of lots of refresh. It feels tired today so will rest it soon. Have been catching up on newspapers and correspondence. Thank you so much. I don't know why I didn't just have both of them done while I was out there. (Grin) Save a spot for me for the next one and for my daughter who also has fuchs, but not very much, yet. I am often not impressed with Physicians but you have given me my life back, at least partially. I am so happy that I did the DLEK. I cannot imagine going through the long recovery with a PK.
