The Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation is dedicated
to operating the MD-36 Oregon Lions statewide programs.


Lions Patient Care Program - Paying for eye & ear surgery and treatment for low-income Oregonians.

Oregon Lions Hearing Aid Bank - Providing rebuilt hearing aids to low-income Oregonians

Lions Children's Statewide Low Vision Clinic - Paying eye doctor to travel to schools to evaluate low-income, low-vision students and provide assistive devices.

KEX Kids Fund - Providing vision and hearing vouchers for 14 counties in Oregon & SW Washington.

Lions Club Eyeglass & Hearing Aid Referrals - Receiving calls & matching people to nearest Lions Club for assistance.

Sam Tyler Commemorative Fund - Providing aid to visually impaired in Lane County.

Irrigon Lions Memorial Fund - Providing sight & hearing assistance in Morrow County.

Oregon Lions Mobile Health Screening Program - Providing free School screenings in Visual Acuity and Hearing; providing free Community screenings in Visual Acuity, Hearing, Blood Pressure, Diabetes and Glaucoma.

Diabetes Screeners - Trained professionals who volunteer to provide the Diabetes Screening on the Mobile Health Screening Units.

Lions Eyeglasses Recycling Program - Includes the collection, transportation, sorting and distribution of used eyeglasses.

Coffee Creek Correctional Facility Calibration Project - As part of the Oregon's Department of Corrections Educational Programs, CCCF inmates clean, calibrate and sort the collected eyeglasses from the Lions Eyeglass Recycling Program.

Lions-Quest - Advocating and sponsoring K-12 Lions-Quest workshops in Oregon schools.

Young Ambassadors of the 21st Century Scholarship Contest - Encouraging positive youth development through an annual contest which builds self-confidence and rewards students for positive behavior with college scholarships.

Matching Youth Grant - Providing matching financial support to positive youth development activities and needs.

Lions Eye Bank of Oregon - Preparing corneas and sclera for transplant, eye tissue for research.

Lions Vision Research Laboratory of Oregon - Scientific study of surgical techniques; eye-related medical equipment and treatment; eye bank techniques, equipment and storage media; and other eye-related research.
