The
Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation (OLSHF)
announces the 10th Anniversary Celebration of
the Lions Mobile Health Screening Program in Pioneer
Square on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 from 9:00 a.m.
- 5:00 p.m.
The
celebration is free to the public and includes
medical screenings for sight, hearing, glaucoma,
blood pressure and diabetes (requires a three-hour
fast). The event is co-sponsored by the Department
of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, OHSU.
Citizens are invited to come by the Lions booths
at the event and donate used eyeglasses and hearing
aids. Lion’s mascot Leo the Lion will distribute
free balloons and eye donation cards.
