Eyeglass Collection
On June
15th, Les Schwab employees joined with Lions to support
eyeglass donations for those countries impacted by
the 2004 Tsunami Disaster.

ALL
Oregon Lions are invited to participate in this special
day that honors all the work of the Oregon Lions.
- CLUB
FUNDRAISER: the Blazers are selling Lions
discounted tickets ($6 to $33 off depending on location
of seats) with a $3 food voucher as added incentive
for people to buy tickets. Any Club wishing to sell
the tickets as a fundraiser can sell the tickets for
face value, give the buyer the food voucher and keep
the profit for club purposes.
- CLUB
MEMBERSHIP RECRUITMENT: instead of an Open
House at the Lions meeting or bringing guests and
treating them to a free meal, consider buying a ticket
to the game and treating the potential member to a
game that is honoring the work of Lions.
- CLUB
EVENT: show off your club’s banner,
cool vests, mascots, etc. by making your weekly meeting
an outing at the game. All members sit together for
the game and show your Lion Pride on camera with banners,
balloons, signs, etc.
- VOLUNTEER:
support the day as a Lion Greeter at the Game. Each
Rose Garden entry will be a used eyeglass/hearing
aid recycling depot with a Lion present to thank the
donor and give out a voucher good for ONE FREE BLAZER
TICKET to a future game of choice.
- MOBILE
SCREENING UNIT promotion: the MSUs will be
operating from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm outside the
Rose Garden near the Rose Quarter foundation. A Blazer
alum and our Lion Mascot will be present to greet
crowds, talk to the media and give prizes to all that
come to be screened. A Lions Club that hosts the MSUs
will also receive free game vouchers as a thank you
for helping.

BLAZER TICKETS as Holiday Gifts for friends and family:
show off Lionism to your loved ones, promote donations
of eyeglasses and give the perfect Hanukkah or Christmas
gift at a deeply discounted price.

at Columbia Edgewater Country Club in honor
